According to a recent announcement from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). This decision follows thorough discussions with all key stakeholders involved with the tournament IPL T20 2025, as well as consultations with the Indian government.
A total of 17 matches will be played across six different venues starting on the designated date. The final match of the IPL is slated for Tuesday, June 3. The updated schedule features a couple of double-header days, which will be held on different Sundays.
The schedule for the playoffs is outlined as follows:
Qualifier 1: May 29
Eliminator: May 30
Qualifier 2: June 1
Final: June 3.
Details on the specific venues for the playoffs will be disclosed soon. The remaining league matches will take place in Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad. The group-stage matches are expected to wrap up on Tuesday, May 27.
