Following his decision to enter the NBA Draft on April 4, freshman point guard Boogie Fland has reportedly signed up for the transfer portal, as per Jon Rothstein’s report.
According to Rothstein, Fland is “100% focused” on the 2025 NBA Draft and plans to remain in it, although he is exploring his options by entering the transfer portal.
A former five-star recruit from the New York City region, Fland was sidelined for 15 games this season after undergoing thumb surgery on January 22 due to an injury sustained against Florida on January 11.
During the season, Fland recorded an average of 13.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game. Before his injury, his assists per game were at 5.7, placing him second in the SEC.
Fland returned to action in the NCAA Tournament, coming off the bench in all three games for the Razorbacks. He scored six points each against Kansas and St. John’s, with his defensive contributions being particularly notable. He achieved three steals against Kansas and one against both St. John’s and Texas Tech.
Arkansas is set to welcome two five-star guards in the 2025 high school class, Darius Acuff Jr. and Meleek Thomas, while D.J. Wagner will be returning for another season in a Razorback uniform.
